Ben Weidmann

I'm an assistant professor of economics at UCL in London, and a research fellow at the London School of Economics.

I co-founded the Harvard Skills Lab with David Deming after completing my PhD at Harvard in 2021. I'm an experimentalist with a background in economics, education and statistics. 

My current research focuses on creating novel approaches to measure skills like teamwork, emotional perceptiveness, management and decision-making. 

My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Econometrica, Management Science and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A).
